Exciting creative professional opportunity in the heart of downtown Sheridan

 

This Marketing Coordinator position at SAGE Community Arts will be responsible for coordinating various marketing campaigns and materials for all exhibitions and classes that bring art to the Sheridan Area. The ideal candidate has a passion for organization, has an eye for detail, and drive to promote the art community.

Non-Exempt, Part-Time (15-20hrs), Must work some Saturdays

Compensation DOE

 

Reports to:   Executive Director

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Graphic Design

  • Design all marketing assets used to promote SAGE events, programs, and services through print and digital media

  • Design any additional graphics needed for bi-weekly newsletters as needed

  • Ensure all marketing is SAGE brand compliant

 

Social Media

  • Design marketing strategies for events, classes and exhibitions

  • Create content consistent with marketing strategies for Facebook and Instagram

  • Publish daily relevant posts on Facebook and frequent posts on Instagram

  • Monitor social media accounts and interact with tags, posts and comments

 

Email

  • Generate content, design, and distribute bi-weekly newsletter using Constant Contact

  • Design Member 2 Member submissions and send to Chamber of Commerce for distribution 

 

Print Marketing

  • Place orders for all print marketing and maintain relationship with SAGE’s print partners

  • Design all exhibition and class fliers and post cards 

 

Public Relations

  • Write press releases for SAGE exhibitions and other events that warrant a press release

  • Distribute press releases to media outlets, local and statewide for both print and digital media.  

 

Website 

  • Maintain the website with the most current information, including maintenance to and/or creation of classes, online exhibition catalogs, weekly blogs, and other updates as necessary.

  • Ensure the website, and each page within, conforms to Google SEO (Search Engine Optimization) standards to encourage web visibility

  • Ensure the website is visually pleasing and easy to access for visitors

  • Troubleshoot any problems involving the website

Analytics

  • Maintain a social media metrics dashboard for Wix, social media, email marketing, and Google Search Console

  • Write a narrative report for Director’s monthly Board Meeting packets

  • Work with Marketing committee to adjust marketing efforts based on performance
