I started capturing pieces of our hearts at the ranch in 2015.  Fergie, our matriarch, was a surprise Christmas Eve gift from my husband and started it all.  Her genealogy which traces back to the first Highland’s imported from Scotland and started the American Highland Cattle Association registry in the US.  My husband and myself are both Scottish descendants which may explain our God-given love for the Scottish Highland breed.  I also work with the American Highland Cattle Association and volunteer to help admin their social media pages in addition to serving on the BP&P board.   Our interest is in breeding and preserving of this extraordinary breed.  Upon receiving many requests I decided to start an Instagram and Facebook page to share the joy these loving faces bring to us everyday.  Follow us on @lovehoofhearted.  I am self-taught in photography and continue to learn something new everyday at the ranch.  Every capture tells a story for generations to come.  Truly a labor of love!
