Copper Cuff #4 by Shirl Yager


This is a single layer hand forged copper bracelet. I hand sketch a design on the copper with a “resist” medium and then suspend it in an etching mordant, until the acid “etches the metal. The colors were created with a torch and then it was hand rubbed with “Renaissance Wax” to prevent oxidation and color transfer to skin.
