Owyhee Blue Opal Necklace

"Hand strung Owyhee opal necklace with liquid silver and aquamarine beads. Owyhee opal is found in the Owyhee Mountains in Eastern Oregon and was originally found near the sacred Indian springs of Owyhee. It’s a sky blue color, ranging to white and brown, with some areas that are translucent like chalcedony. These faceted beads are very striking in the way they catch the light. The clasp is handmade sterling and the piece carries my maker’s mark. Approx 18 inches." -Deryn Mentock
