In this two-part workshop, you’ll get demos from Dan and cover theory and lettering styles, composition tips and tricks, personal Q&A — and ultimately bring to a piece of word-based artwork to life in the medium of your choice. All levels of experience welcome. Bio: Dan Lee (@dandrawnwords) is a freelance creative professional and designer with a focus on hand-lettering and typography, which has led to exciting branding and merch work for artists, musicians, events, and creative companies of all stripes. He has been a member of the SAGE Board of Directors since 2020. Through Destiny Kid Labs, he has also worked with agencies, art directors, and non-profits to provide creative direction, lead facilitations, and develop critical messaging.
