Service Description

**Members: use COMICS20 to get your special discount!** Experience the way comics are made with local comic illustrator Bret Norwood, from character design, writing, and thumbnailing to penciling and inking pages. Students will develop their own manga, comic, or graphic novel concept using professional techniques with the goal of leaving the six sessions of the course with one or two finished pages. Returning students are welcome to continue to develop projects and skills from the previous session and workshop their creations while new students will be introduced to the core methods and concepts. Supplies for traditional ink on Bristol board will be provided. Attendees who prefer to work digitally may bring their own device. Bret Norwood is the creator of the comic Spinner and has been published in Wyoming comics anthology Strange on the Range as well as illustrating various other projects.
